Lucie Decarne has transformed our fabrics into the characters of her paintings, under the gaze of her lens and the lights of the Basque country.

Passionate about film photography, she models the light and grain like the romantic images of our teenage years, when blogs and tumblers shared photos of our best friends, memories of our travels, the romance of the evenings and the ethereality of the mornings.

At 27, she enjoys working in medium format and capturing everyday subjects, using simplicity to create poetic images - where the subjects stare into the lens without blushing.
